Explore It Summer Camp

Nearly 90 campers, 26 returning from the prior year, enjoyed the Museum’s fourth Explore It Summer Camp. The six-week camp, running during July and August, was led by Museum educators and engaged kids with indoor and outdoor activities that cover a wide range of hands-on activities. Campers engaged in programs such as woodworking with real hammers, nails, and safety equipment; prototyping experiences with our exhibits team; and engaging in dance and dress up in our KidStage theater. Campers also had the opportunity to explore the Museum’s many exhibits, as well as play in the adjacent Martin’s Park.

The Museum’s popular Camp provides unique opportunities for children and families to connect with the Museum experience, and make friends and memories as they share in joyful discovery activities.
